supports and repairs muscles and tendons promoting heat ( i also use a hot stone therapeutically.  This is basalt heated in water and is used as an extra aide)

involves long strokes, kneading, friction, vibration , good for settling the nervous system and promoting relaxation and balance, de-stressing the body and mind.

trigger points are areas of hyper-irritability and pressure is used on the points which can refer pain,  breaking the pain cycle.

allows you to lie prone on a specialist pregnancy table and be massaged by a trained therapist, using midwifery and massage skills.  

a technique for expectant women who are overdue, to try and  avoid  induction of labour. Focuses on certain points in the body by pressure, eg L14(Hegu, between thumb/index finger, and SP6 inner ankle  can promote labour

Baby massage techniques for Mum and Dad while pregnant, or can bring baby into the clinic.  Research has found baby massage is beneficial for preterm babies (New Zealand College of MIdwives), bonding, stimulation, relief from wind, colic, and relaxation.
